ereceipts ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our platform at ereceipts.ph.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use ereceipts:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Business information: Your business name, registered address, TIN, ATP number, and VAT status that you provide for receipt generation.
  • Client information: Client names, addresses, TINs, and contact details you add to your client directory.
  • Receipt data: OR numbers, service descriptions, amounts, and dates of receipts you create.
  • Usage data: How you interact with the platform, including page views and feature usage, collected via PostHog analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the ereceipts platform
  • To generate BIR-formatted receipt PDFs on your behalf
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts, alerts)
  • To improve our product through anonymized usage analytics
  • To process subscription payments via PayMongo

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS. We implement row-level security to ensure your data is accessible only to your account. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • PayMongo — payment processing
  • PostHog — product analytics (anonymized)
  • Vercel — hosting infrastructure
We may also disclose your information if required by Philippine law or a valid legal order.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your receipt data

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by Philippine tax laws (BIR requires records to be kept for 10 years).

8. Cookies

ereceipts uses cookies for authentication session management only. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

ereceipts is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of ereceipts after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
